Earnest Dixon 80, was born on February 18,1939 in Hooks, TX. He was born to the parentage of Mert Dixon and Eva Perkins . He departed this life on June 14,2019 in Texarkana, TX. He was preceded in death by his wife, Annie J. Dixon; son, Jerry C. Richardson; sister, Laretta Gates; and brother, Melvin Dixon. He was a faithful member of the Polly Chapel Baptist Church and the owner of Dixon Lawn Service.

He leaves behind:

1 Son: Roland Dixon (Erica) of Texarkana, TX.

6 Daughters: Mary Sasser of Mansfield, TX. Joyce Upshaw (Dexter) of Springs, TX. Terrenia Foster (Gary) of Balch Springs, TX. Sonja Dixon (Leroy) of Houston, TX. Tia Range (Gabe) of Texarkana, TX. Jennifer Dixon Cravens of Silver Spring, Maryland. 

3 Brothers: Roosevelt Dixon of Texarkana, TX. Mack Dixon (Doris) of Wright City, OK. Mert Dixon of Wichita, Kansas. 

3 Sisters: Betty Maddox of Minneapolis, Minnesota. Tilda Sims and Marylin Range of Hooks, TX. 

16 Grandchildren, and 18 Great-Grandchildren as well as a host of many other family members and friends.
