Joe Edward Frenh, 63, of Wilton, Arkansas, departed this life October 15, 2011 at his home.
He was affiliated with Bethlehem Baptist Church, a former employee of Domtar Paper Mill in Ashdown, Arkansas, and a member of the American Legion for Vietnam Vets. He was a decorated, disabled veteran of the U.S. Army. During his Army service, he earned a Purple Heart.
To cherish his memory, he leaves his wife, Alice Faye French of Wilton, Arkansas; four sons, Roy French, Armond French, and Sidney Moody--all of Wilton, Arkansas, and Jamal Harden of El Paso, Texas; one daughter, Alicia C. Williams of Atlanta, Georgia; his mother, Onetta N. French of Wilton, Arkansas; two brothers, T.W. French and Butch French--both of Texarkana, Arkansas; two sisters Acquanita Moore and Angela Harris--both of Wilton, Arkansas; eleven grandchildren and a number of other relatives and friends.
Mr. French's visitation will be 5-7 p.m., Friday, October 21, 2011 at Richardson Hill Funeral Home; and his funeral will be 2 p.m., Saturday, October 22, 2011 at Bethlehem Baptist Church, 531 Main Street, Wilton, Arkansas 71865, where Rev. Eric L. Nelson, Pastor, will be officiating.
