Obituary of Effie D Minnieweather

Effie D. Minnieweather was born on April 10,1946 to the parents of Everett and Artliner Hobson in Honey Grove, TX. She attended school in Bonita, was a loving wife, sister, aunt, grandmother, and friend to all who will be remembered for her endless kindness, loving heart, and thoughtful manner. She cared for her family and loved everyone unconditionally. She was a long time resident of bowie courts were she opened her home to all and help many young families with legal work upon moving in the community. She worked for several years as a Home Health Aide until health became a problem. She enjoyed cooking, fishing with her long time friend Melba Ellis and was a bad mama shut your mouth when it came to dominoes.  Mrs. Minnieweather was a member and missionary sister of Sunset Missionary Baptist Church which she loved to attend. Mrs. Minnieweather passed away on September 1, 2019 at Wadley Hospital. She was preceded in death by her Husband Rufus Minnieweather, Two Sons; Carl Minnieweather and Jason Minnieweather, Five Brothers; Deon Hobson, Leon Hobson, Robert Hobson, Silas Hobson, and Johnny Hobson, Four Sisters; Laura Lee Jones, Betty Mae Miles, Christine Lewis, and Hazel Hobson. one grandson; Gianni Lasha Minnieweather; Three Great-grandson; Nicholas Hayden, Reggie Hayden, and Damian Coats all of Texarkana, TX

She leaves to cherish her memories:

Two Sons: Rufus Minnieweather Jr of Texarkana, Texas. Eddie Minnieweather of Dallas, TX; Four Daughters: Marilyn Minnieweather, Vanessa Minnieweather, Shelia Harris, and Caroline Minnieweather of Texarkana, TX. One Son-in-law: Demond Harris; One Daughter-in-Law: Sarah Minnieweather,  One Brother: James Hobson of Dallas, TX. Three sisters: Lola Hobson and Helen Howard of Dallas, TX. Mildred Riley of Texarkana, Tx Five Sister-in-laws: Linda Hobson, Georgia Hobson, Terrie Hobson, T.J. Hobson and Bernice Minnieweather; One Brother- in-law: Willie Miles, 34 Grandchildren, 56 Great-Grandchildren, 1 Great Great- Grandchild and a host of many other relatives and friends.
