Aaron Peters was born to the late Clarence and Della Hunt Peters on July 22, 1930 in Atlanta, TX. God came back and took him home on February 1, 2020. He united in Holy Matrimony to the late Betty Larry Peters on January 14, 1958. To this union 7 children were born. After serving 2 years in the military, Aaron Peters attended college at Prairie View A&M University, Jarvis Christian College and Wiley College. He graduated with a double master's degree in math and English. Mr. Peters was a dedicated school teacher where he taught in Atlanta Public schools for over 35 years, while working in Atlanta Mr. Peters drove a school bus and taught driver's ed. He was the first automated driver's ed teacher in Atlanta area. (Mr. Peters taught his older brother to drive.) after he retired from Atlanta he completed his teaching career In Bright Star. He did not believe in idle hands; he was always looking for something to do in his spear time. Mr. Peters found time to become an Insurance Steward and with the assistance of hi seven children threw newspapers every morning before school. After he completely retired from teaching, he dabbled at writing poetry. Mr. Peters felt the secret to longevity was to keep moving. He was proceeded in death by death by his wife, Betty Larry Peters, two brothers, Wallace and Artis Peters and one great-grandchild, Chadrick Larry. He leaves to cherish in his memories and celebrate his life: 5 daughters: Brenda Davis and Kathryn(Kenneth)Smith of (Atlanta, TX) Rhonda(Robert) Clayborn of (Texarkana, TX), Sharon(Don)Allen and LaSonya Hamilton of Oklahoma City, OK. 2 Sons; Dracy(Sonsiris) Peters of Bossier City, LA, and Aaron(Murline) Peters Jr. of Denison, TX 24 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren, 7 great-great grandchildren and a host of other relative and friends.
