Obituary of Jessie Mae Estell
Mrs. Jessie Mae Estelle 81 years of age of Hooks, TX was born on April 23, 1939 in Marshall, TX. She passed away on May 15, 2020. Her parents were Mr. JD Hayes and Mrs. Ardello Hayes both of whom proceed her in death. Mrs. Estelle attended and graduated from Booker T Washington High School in Marshall, TX . Mrs. Estelle met and married Hoxie Davis whom also proceeds her in death, of Marshall, TX and to this union 9 children were born, she later in life met and married Patsor Eddie Estell of Hooks, TX and to this union came 3 step sons. Mrs. Estelle was a member of Cedar Grove Baptist Church in Hooks, TX where she was also an Missionary and would visit the sick and shut in and there she would pray, read Bible scriptures, and sing to them, she also loved singing in the church. Mrs. Estelle was a Homemaker where she loved canning preserves, quiliting and sewing as a hobby and gardening and cooking and baking. Mrs. Estell also loved old time gospel music her favorite song was Amazing Grace. Mrs. Estell has 3 brothers that proceed her in death John L. Hayes, Clarence Hayes, and Herman Hayes and 1 sister Georigia Lee Buter.

7 Daughters: Gloria Campbell of (Texarkana, TX); Dyeann Berry of (Texarkana, TX); Cynthia Fagan of (Hooks,TX); Jacqueline Davis of (Longview, TX); Carolyn Johnson of (Fayetteville, NC) Sonya (Billy) Rowe of (Dallas, TX) and Kimberly Davis of (Dallas,TX).
2 Bothers: Lawrence Hayes of (Keithville, LA) and JC Hayes of (Houston, TX).
1 sister: Lena Mae Hayes of (Hooks, TX).
