Cedric Lemond Peters was born on Wednesday, May 25, 1977 in Texarkana, Texas. God saw that he was getting tired, so He came back and took him home on Friday, September 18, 2020. Cedric was a graduate of Atlanta High School. He was employed as a prison guard at Telford Prison in New Boston, Texas. His grandparents, Jewel and Lorene Webster and Aaron and Betty Peters, preceded him in death. He is survived by his parents, Kenneth and Kathryn Smith (Atlanta, TX); brother, Kenneth Joe Smith Jr. (Gainesville, TX); nephew, KJ Smith (Atlanta, TX); nieces, Sarahy Moctezuma, Mireya Moctezuma and Aaliyah Smith (all of Atlanta, TX); and a host of other relatives and friends.
