Obituary of Edward Woods

Edward Lynn Woods, 54, of Texarkana, Arkansas, departed this life Friday, September 7, 2012 at his home. Mr. Woods was born July 29, 1958 in Texarkana, Arkansas. He was a former employee of Tyson Foods. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ollie and Lucille Woods and two brothers, Isaac Woods and Charles Woods. To cherish his memory, he leaves his wife, Carolyn Woods of Texarkana, Arkansas; three stepdaughters, Shekeka Cheatham of Texarkana, Arkansas, Demetria Cheatham of Dallas, Texas, and Paula Cheatham of Rodger, Arkansas; two brothers, James Woods of Tracy, California and Ollie Ray Woods of Gilroy, California; four sisters, Doris Green, Barbara Byrd, Carolyn Woods, and Brenda Montgomery--all of Texarkana, Arkansas; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives; a special friend, Louann Criner and friends. The visitation will be 3-5 p.m., Friday, September 14, 2012 at Richardson Hill Funeral Home.
