My dear cousin, Pat, you will be sorely missed. As I think about days gone by, I remember you riding your horse down our back, country roads, your hair blowing in the wind, your laughter, and joy radiating from your face. You were always so sweet, kind and soft spoken. I can remember you encouraging me to ride with you sometimes and how afraid I was to do so. But you assured me you would not go fast and I would be safe; and I was. I say to you and your family now, "you are safe in our Father's arms." I can also recall our last few conversations. I heard your Faith and was touched by the love you have for God. It was obvious and clearly announced in the words you spoke whenever we had a chance to talk. No one can ever doubt your love for God and your family. As it is often said, "Heaven is a Prepared Place for Prepared People." You were PREPARED. I hope I told you that I loved you when we last talked, but if I didn't use those exact words, I hope something I said told you I do. Until we ride again. Love always, your cousin, Carla
