Jimmy Lynn Johnson, Sr., 61, of Texarkana, Texas, passed away Tuesday, September 18, 2012 in Tyler, Texas. Mr. Johnson was born January 1, 1951 to the parents of Annie Louise Johnson and Willie K. Willis. He united in holy matrimony with Bessie Lee Johnson, and to this union six children were born. He was a truck driver for Mack's Trucking Inc., Malone Concrete, and Sullivan's Gravel, and other companies. Later, he joined Evangelist Temple, whose pastor is Sarah Deadner. He was a deacon, drummer, and guitarist. Mr. Johnson enjoyed fishing, traveling, and spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his mother, Annie Johnson; father, Willie Willis; mother-in-law, Bessie M. Wadley; four brothers: Henry, Larry, Billy D., and Willie Lee, Jr; two sisters, Cindy and Kathy; one adopted son, Michael Walker; and others. To cherish his memory, he leaves: Wife: Bessie Johnson of Texarkana, Texas Five Daughters: Meredith Johnson of Texarkana, Texas Jeanette Johnson of Texarkana, Texas Michelle Smith of Texarkana, Texas Miriam Johnson of Texarkana, Texas Chasity Henderson of Texarkana, Texas Two Sons: Jimmy Johnson, Jr. of Texarkana, Texas Eric Johnson of Texarkana, Texas Ten Brothers: Tommie Wadley of Texarkana, Texas Robert Johnson of Texarkana, Texas Melvin Johnson of Texarkana, Texas Bennie Johnson of Texarkana, Texas Bobby Johnson of Texarkana, Texas Samuel Johnson of Texarkana, Arkansas Emmanuel Johnson of Texarkana, Texas Ten Sisters: Mary Moore of Texarkana, Texas Ventoria Clagett of Texarkana, Texas Dorothy Johnson of Texarkana, Texas Faye Franklin of Texarkana, Texas Bonnie Willis of Pittsburg, Texas Fourteen grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
