Obituary of Robert Pegues

Robert Pegues, 63, of Ashdown, Arkansas, departed this life Saturday, October 13, 2012 at his home. He was a member of the Greater Mt. Zion Baptist Church, a member of the Farmer's Association, and a U.S. Army Veteran. To cherish his memory, he leaves his wife, Barbara Denise Pegues of Ashdown, Arkansas, Russell Dale Pegues of Ashdown, Arkansas, Rodney Dwight Pegues of Little Rock, Arkansas, and Vincent D. Pegues of Dallas, Texas; one daughter, Chemika Smith of Texarkana; one God-daughter, Landell Hill of Texarkana; four sisters, Rosie Lee Richardson of Los Angeles, California, Annie May Burns of Ashdown, Arkansas, Louise Belvins of Mt. Pines, Arkansas, and Joyce Cook of Ashdown, Arkansas; and other relatives and friends. His visitation will be 5 p.m.-7 p.m., Friday, October 19, 2012, at Richardson Hill Funeral Home. His funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, October 20, 2012 at Freewill Baptist Church, 791 Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Drive, Ashdown, AR 71822.
