Obituary of Barbara Denise Pegues

Barbara Denise Pegues 73 years of age was born August 7,1948 in Greenville Mississippi to Buster and Mary Peoples. Barbara and her parents moved to Fresno California from Greenville Mississippi at the age of 2. When she was 9 years old, she was adopted by Mr and Mrs Jackson in Fresno CA and lived with them until she married. Barbra pased away January 27, 2022 in a local hospital in Texarkana, TX.

Barbara attended and grduated from Fresno High School, in Fresno CA in May 1968. She also completed and graduated  the Certified Nursing Assistant Program at Fritz Simmons Hospital in Aurora, Colorado in 1970, where she worked in he field and expertise for 27 years. She later retired from Little River Hospital in Ashdown, Arkansas.

Barbara and Robert (Mickey) married Febuary 19,1968 and shared a marriage of 44 years. Of this union 3 children were born, Russell Dale, Rodney Dwight, and Vincent Deshond.

She gave her life to Christ at an early age and upon moving to Ashdown, Arkansas she joined Community Frewwill Baptist Church.

She is proceded indeath by her parents, Buster and Mary Peoples, Mr and Mrs. Jackson, her husband Robert Dale Pegues (Mickey); and her sister Debra Peoples.

She is survived by her sons, Russell Dale Pegues 53 of (Ashdown, Ar),Rodney Dwight Pegues 51(Sonya J.) of (Marche, Ar), and Vincent Deshond Pegues 50 of (Mesquite, TX); 14 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, 2 sisters Edna Peoples and Betha Peoples of (Sacremento, CA) 5 brothers Robert Peoples,Terry Peoples, Calvin Peoples, Freddie Peoples, and Charles Peoples of (Sacremento, CA) and her aunt Billie Wynn of (Greenville,MS). and also a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
