Bakie’ s kind heart and soul with genuine compassion was his valuable traits. His work ethics was a phenomenal asset that he leaves as a legacy. Roy was a graduate of Atlanta High school. He was a journeyman and foreman at Bowie Cass electric of Douglassville, TX. Roy’s life in Christ was filled with praise and worship shared with his church Free Christian Zion of Douglassville, TX and neighboring churches.
Roy is preceded in death by his Loving wife and Best Friend Linda Brown, his parents Roy and Minnie Brown, 2 sisters Vera Pickings, Alice Brown, and his brother James Brown.
He leaves to cherish his memories:
Two daughters: Kristi Horsley (Kelvin) of Douglassville TX.
ShaQueta Brown of Little Rock Ar.
Two sisters: Vera Brown and Betty Kyle both of Douglassville, TX.
One Special Uncle: Autris Baynane Dickerson of Douglassville, TX.
Four Grand Sons Austin Brown, Kelvin Horsley Jr., and Orlando Horsley all of Douglassville, TX. and Aaire Ivory of Houston TX.
One Granddaughter: Sunni Horsley of Douglassville, TX.
and a host of nieces’ nephews relatives and friends.
