Debra Baker Phillips was born on June 17,1955 in Texarkana, Texas to George and Corine Baker. Both preceded her in death.
She had one son: Breon Phillips.
Debra was a 1974 graduate of Texas High School. She was one of Jehovah’s Witnesses, and she volunteered her time to help teach people about Jehovah God. She worked part-time for Elara Caring as a Home Health Attendant. She was a good-hearted person, who was always willing to help others. She was dearly loved, and will be greatly missed. She was known for her delicious peanut butter cookies, popcorn balls, candied apples, and Mexican cornbread. She loved spending time with her son, family, and friends. She especially loved spoiling kids. She was known to give every infant she came in contact with their first taste of candy.
Debra Phillips died at St. Michael Hospital, after a brief battle with cancer on Thursday, July 7, 2022 in Texarkana, TX at the age of 67.
Memories of her are cherished by her only son: Breon Phillips; her three loving sisters: Mary Wicks, Jean Walthall, and Patricia Mills, all of Texarkana, Texas; three wonderful brothers: Clarence Ray Baker, James M. Baker of Corpus Christi, Texas, and Plenord Bernard Baker (Elizabeth) of Texarkana, Texas; one special great-nephew, Savion Woodley, and a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Corine Baker, her brother, Perry Baker, and a special great-niece, Alicia Spencer.
