Mr. Leo McCoun Jr. 87 of Texarkana, Texas died October 22, 2022. Mr. McCoun was born in Lewisville, Arkansas to the parentage of Mr. Leo McCoun Sr. and Mrs. Lee Ann Clark. He was 1 of 11 siblings and grew up in a home filled with love, respect, honor, and dignity of an honest day work. He was known to many as "Mr. Leo" from his many years working at Bryce's Cafeteria where he was a dedicated and a trusted employee. Mr. McCoun was united with the Polly Chapel Missionary Baptist Church along with his loving wife. Mr. McCoun met the woman of his dreams Florence Richards whom he married in Holy Matrimony and have been dedicated to for 60 years. He was a man who believed in his marriage vows and lived by them to stay together until death did them apart. Mr. McCoun was preceded in death by both of his parents, 3 sisters Mimia Stuckey, Martha Walker, Lessie B. Collins, and 1 brother Thomas McCoun. He leaves to Cherish his Memories 3 sisters Queen Ragland Texarkana, Arkansas, Dorothy Stigers and Claudine Williams both of Ft. Worth , Texas, 3 brothers Roosevelt McCoun of Texarkana, Texas, Calvin McCoun (Charmaine) of Ft.Wayne, Indiana, Elijah McCoun (Tammy) of Dayton, Ohio, 3 Godchildren Dianne Blackwell of Texarkana, Texas, Carla Washinton (LaGardia) of Flower Mound, Texas, Dr. Cheryl Verna and many other relatives and friends.
