Ms. Marvyn was a faithful member of Royal Chapter #2064 Order of the Eastern Stars for a number of years. She held the position of Martha (a point on the star).
She always had a smile to share with everyone she met.

I am saddened of the loss of my cousin, Marvyn. I will forever cherish the phone conversation we had a few weeks ago. Her presence will certainly be missed, especially at the family reunions. She was such a lovely person.

My sincere condolences to the family. Mrs. Pegue was good friend to my mother, Curlene Turner. They enjoyed many good times doing church activities with the Greenville Texarkana District.
May her loving spirit live on.
Gale Turner Burns.

Q: How did you meet Marvyn?
A: I was blessed to have Granny Pegue in my life as her granddaughter Elexis and I have been close friends since grade school. Granny Pegue always welcomed me with open arms and a smile. She was a dear treasure and will be missed. Elexis, thank you for sharing Granny Pegue with me. I love you all.

Our deepest condolences and prayers to the family. May your precious memories of Sister Pegue bring you comfort in days to come. I will never forget the trips we made following our children to District and Conference meetings. We would ride together many times {her driving} and talk and laugh all the way. She was a great cook and taught me how to make her famous Mac & Cheese. Sister Marvyn Theresa Pegue aka Ms, Hopewell will be remembered and missed by all who knew her,
Gwen, Rochelle, ShuRon, Marcus and Jamie
