Obituary of Tammy Renee Walker

Tammy Renee Thompson Walker (Queen Yeyo) was born October 3, 1968 to the parentage of Rufus Chappell and Dorothy Jackson-Thompson in New Boston, Texas. Tammy attended New Boston High School and was a Graduate of the Class of 1987, she was also a dedicated member on the basketball and volleyball teams.

Tammy was introduced to Christ at an early age upon accepting Christ she eventually became a licensed devoted minister at Macedonia Baptist Church in Garland, Texas. Later in life she transitioned over to Traditional African Spiritual Systems of MAAT where she gained knowledge of self and found inner peace with Neter(GOD).

Tammy(Queen Yeyo) was employed for 10 years at Xerox in Richardson,Texas. In 2011, she committed to self advancement and received her Associate's Degree in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix and went to become an Administration Manager for Faith & Family  business. She devoted her life to being a servant of NETER(God), Mother, Sister, Aunt, Friend, and Cousin.

She united in holy matrimony to Kim Walker for 9 years.

Her favorite past time as a youth was spending time outside with her father. She found peace in cooking, dancing, reading, rollerblading, fishing, riding bikes, playing with her grandchildren and enjoying down-home good food with her family.

Tammy(Queen Yeyo) was preceded in death by her parents Rufus Chappell and Dorothy Jackson-Thompson; two brothers Joe Nathan Thompson and Royal Chappell; three sisters Doris E. Jackson, Katherine Thompson-Burns and Carolyn S. Gooden. She leaves to cherish her memory her sons Johnathan(Chiara)Thompson and Terrence Thompson, five grandloves; Chijon, Carey, Chikere, Kheperi and Khinuu Thompson(Ta'Merri); three sisters,Lela J. Garvin, Mary L.Jackson, and Dorothy Battle Webster; three brothers brothers,Billy Thompson, Gregory(Nancy)Thompson, and Steven(Marilyn)Thompson, and a host of nieces, nephews, extended
family, and friends.
