Obituary of Roger Franklin

Roger Franklin Sr. was born December 1,1946 in Hooks,Texas to the late Bennie and Andy Franklin. He passed away Monday, November 19, 2012 at a local hospital and under the care of Dierksen Hospice of Texarkana,Texas. He was a member of Red Bank Baptist Church of Hooks, Texas, a city of Hooks Maintenance worker in Hooks, Texas, and a member of the American Legion Post 248 of Hooks, Texas. To cherish his memory, he is survived by his first his wife of 25 years, Helen Marshall, of Foreman Arkansas, and later he married Arlene Jackson of Texarkana ,Texas and currently of Hooks, Texas; three sons, Roger Franklin, Jr. (Barbara); Timothy Butler of Longview, Texas, and John Williams of Kosovo; two daughters, Cynthia Franklin of Texarkana, Texas and Renee Franklin-Dunn (Andre) of Texarkana, Texas; one brother, Marvin Franklin (Doris); one sister, Quincey King (Robert) of Hooks, Texas; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
