I am going to miss you. You had such a good heart, you didn't look or treat me any different as a step grandchild as you would your own. That shows how great of a person you truely were. I wish you could have been able to meet your great grandson Jordan, but I know you have already came to see him! I can move on with the strength of knowing that your watching over us everyday, and as our guardian ANGEL you will make sure we are all safe. I love you papa, Keep smiling down!! :)

Uncle Vic was a great man! Kind, caring and fun are few words to describe an amazing person. From the time Uncle Vic and Aunt Kathy moved to Texas, there were many card games played and stories told! Playing Canasta, Hand and Foot, and Dominos were among the games we played together. I remember so many stories and even more laughs. While playing a game of Canasta and talking we reached the point of having to meld 120 and after drawing and discarding so many times, and no team been able to meld, you would think a discard of 4 would be safe! Not with Uncle Vic! That man held 4's like no bodies business! When I discarded that 4 the biggest smile came across his face, his cards went down on the table and boy did he have good time with that discard pile! Needless to say, we lost that game! Every game we played after that I was reminded of this and every game he reminded me with a big smile on his face!
Uncle Vic, you are missed. Our card games will never be the same. I know you have had a rough couple of years and today and I am glad that is behind you. Today you are at peace and I have no doubt you and Paw Paw (Jim Thomas) are playing Canasta or 42 in Heaven!

I remember one evening when Victor's reputation as a macho man came about, His wife Kathleen, a friend of ours, an I went for a girls night out, we went to the local Eagles Lodge where we heard a party was in progress and we knew a lot of people there, we were having a great time listning to the band, dancing ect, Victor was at home watching TV and having a great quiet time without us, when he received an urgent call that a family member had been in an accident,,he jumped in his truck and came straight to the Eagles Lodge, opened the door, snapped his fingers and we all three grabbed our purses and ran out of there, it was all over town the next morning of how he was the man in controle, and with one snap of his fingers all three women knew who the BOSS was...we let him bask in his male ego from that day on...and if someday he snapps his fingers from Heaven, we hope to jump and run once again....
