Obituary of Victor Henke

Victor Henke, 72, of Atlanta, Texas, passed away May 6, 2012 in Atlanta, Texas. Mr. Henke was born July 28, 1939 in madison County, Illinois to Catherine Kanning and Martin Henke. He graduated in from school in Edwardsville, Illinois, and he retired from La Clede Steel in Alton, Illinois. Mr. Henke served in the Army Reserves. He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Leo Henke; two sisters, Lillie Masterson and Martha Ackerman. He is survived by his wife, Kathleen Henke; daughter, Vickie Hopkins and granddaughter, Haylie--both of Hartford, Illinois; three stepchildren, Kevin Weeks of Grafton, Illinois, Angels Furlow of East Alton, Illinois, and Thomas Furlow of Alton, Illinois; four step-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
