I hope these few words will bring some comfort to the family. Look to the hill from whence all help cometh. I know there are tears now, but soon you will be thankful for the joy and and the life that you shared with Keshia. God will not leave us or forsake us. He will always be here for us. Just know that you have nothing to be sorrowful for, for we too must answered the call that Keshia answered. You are in my prayers and thoughts.

I had the pleasure as well as privilege of knowing LaKeshia in high school. She was always smiling didn't talk much. To the entire family my prayers and love are with you at this time of sorrow. Remember God can heal your broken hearts but you must give him all the pieces. Reflect on her memories. If there is anything I can do now or in the future don't hesitate to let me know.

Keshia was a very lovely and loving lady. We may not understand why God called her at such an early age, but he makes no mistakes. The death of a child is hard for a mother but I know that Connie will gain strength knowing that her child is resting in the arms of Jesus. Keshia was and always will be in my heart. I remember when Connie was pregnant with her and I had to drive from Ida,La to Shreveport to find a store open cause she wanted an apple. Connie i love you and will always be just a phone call away. You know Keshia was our baby. She is with Aunt Laura, Uncle Nels, Grandma, her Daddy, Grandpa and my brother Raymond just to name a few. On May 4,2011 she was healed. She is happy and at peace. Love Chubby

This is how I remember Keshia getting that little scar on her face. Well, you know my grandfather was always building on something. I was about 11 or 12 (I think)which made Keshia about 2 or 3. Grandpa was building on the large living room that was the center of the house and there was a nail somewhere. As we kids like to do, somebody was always running around playing, there were a lot us around-kids and grandkids. Well, Keshia was running and fell -- her face was cut by a 'missed' nail sticking out. She went to the doctor and they put in stitches (no butterfly stitches back then).
