Wilkie (Dad), you know I miss you and wish I could hear you voice. I play a tape recorder with your voice on it all the time just to hear you talk again. I have you and mom recorded on my phone singing Happy Birthday to me that brings me to tears every July.19th. I just wish I had you both here still. Just know I miss you and love daddy. You had to know Wilkie to love him. He would tell the story about his mother adn he and his Grandma. He was styanding behind his mother skirt tail. His Grandma was on the porch outside of the door and his mother was on the inside of the door with him. His mother was telling his Grandma that she didnt know what had happened to the deed to thier house. Wilkie said he proceeded to tell his grandma that his mother wosn't telling the truth and his mother back hand slapped him. He than told her to forget it tell it your wy than I.m gone. Only he could tell this story and other stories that would have you die laughing on the floor. I miss you so much Daddy. Love Nicole

Daddy I still can't believe that your gone. You told me that you would always be here for me. That you would never let me stray. Here I am today missing my bestfriend that I call dad. My days and nights seem so long now without you in my home. When you left you took a piece of me with you.I may never be the same happy go lucky girl I have always been for you made me happy and gave me something to look forward to each day. You just don't know how much I am hurt for lossing you. I miss coming in the house and seeing you sitting on the couch drinking your orange pop and asking me if I wanted some. I miss us having our cappacinno nights just sitting around talking about the silliest of things. Im going to miss your smile that could always brighten up my day no matter how bad it had went. I miss kissing you goodnight at night and you kissing me back or you just looking in my room to see what I'm doing. You coming by my house to see if I'm alright. You following behind me as I leave to go the store. I look in rear view mirror now just wishing that I could see you driving behind me once more but your gone. Its hard being the only child and having to plan and put your best and only friend in the world to rest. Daddy I miss you like crazy.

To my siblings I know we all loved Wilkie very much and only as siblings can love another sibling, and that is without prejudice. He was our brother, and our heart breaks with his passing. This is a first for the family of 14/ 7 boys and 7 girls. WiLkie, the circle has been broken and we must continue on without you until we all join in heaven one day. We now are mourning your death with tears and heavy heart. We loved you as no-one else could love you. You have left us with our memories and now we cherish those times GOD blessed us to have with you. Rest in the arms and presence of the Lord.
