Wilkie Johnson, 72, of Mineral Springs, Arkansas, passed away Tuesday, August 14, 2012 in Texarkana, Texas. Mr. Johnson was born August 11, 1940 in Paraloma, Arkansas to the late Sammie V. Johnson and Hessie Lee Vaughn Johnson of Paraloma, Arkansas. He was affiliated with Scott's Memorial United Methodist Church, and he was a Machinist at S&C Electric of Chicago, Illinois. His parents preceded him in death. He is survived by his wife, Fannie Mae Johnson of Mineral Springs, Arkansas; three daughters, Nicole Gamble (Richard) of Nashville, Arkansas, Debbie Tyler (Michael), and Patricia Isaac (Narvlen) of St. Paul, Minnesota; six brothers, Sammie Johnson (Irene) of Alabama, Bertram Johnson (Young) of Arkansas, Aberdeen Johnson (Jewel) of Illinois, Alfred J. Johnson of Illinois, Norman R. Johnson of Arkansas and Douglas E. Johnson of Washington; seven sisters, Virginia Scott (Warren) of Arkansas, Shirley Williams (Ed) of Arkansas, Marjorie Williams (Robert) of Arkansas, Juliann Johnson of Georgia, Evelyn Hendrix (Junior) of Arkansas, Phyllis Rogers (Alvernon) of Arkansas, and Annette DeJesus (Ishmael) of Texas; four grandchildren, Tristan Gaffeney, Michael Tyler, Jr., De'Myka M. Tyler, and Jãlexysa M. Smith; and many other relatives and friends.
